POWHer Volunteer Event: Project 150

Each November, POWHer gives thanks by giving back to the community with a volunteer activity. One of our favorite events is helping to box Thanksgiving meal items - turkey and all - at local non-profit Project 150.

Project 150 helps thousands of registered and non-registered unhoused, displaced and disadvantaged high school students get what they need to succeed now . .  . and beyond.

Join us!

Help Project 150 prepare an anticipated 2,000 Thanksgiving Meal Boxes for homeless students and their families.

Dress Code

• Comfortable: shirt, pants and close-toed shoes
• Open warehouse setting; be weather-conscious

Cost to Participate: A few hours of your time 

• 8:00 - 12:00 noon
